Andrew Maguire is the author of the novel Grand Slam.
I became a convert to the romance genre during the pandemic. While I fell in the love with genre, I craved more queer male stories written by queer male writers. In 2022, I set out to fill that vacuum by creating a love story set in another industry with a lack of gay representation: men’s tennis. With support from Georgia Clark’s Romance Writing Workshop and many kind early readers, I’m currently seeking a home for my debut romance novel.
I live with my dashing partner in Los Angeles, where I work for UNICEF USA, obsess over the latest season of Survivor, and continue my unending search for the country’s best bagels. Grand Slam is my debut novel.
